Looking resplendent in a bright blue outfit, enjoyed a rare day out with Prince Charles today as she showed her support for the Prince's Trust, which is marking its 40th anniversary in 2016.

Arriving in the royal car together at the trust's London headquarters, the Queen, who turns 90 this year, and Charles, 67, looked in high spirits as they attended the function together.

Charles took his mother on a tour of the trust's Kennington offices, stopping to meet those who've been supported by the charity, and its star ambassadors including actor Damian Lewis, who thanked the Queen for a previous racing tip.

Homeland star Lewis, 45, who was at the offices with wife Helen McCrory revealed that he had thanked the Queen for a previous Ascot race tip, which he said had won him enough money 'for a weekly shop'.

Lewis, who is as passionate about horseracing as the Queen, revealed: '[This time] I asked for the Grand National because that's the only time we're there and she said 'no, no, no, that's miles away - you need tips for Royal Ascot first'.

'She gave me a tip for Royal Ascot and it came with a royal seal.'

McCrory added: 'The last time we were lucky enough to meet Her Majesty was actually the evening she received her Bafta...something that both of us are still waiting for.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the youth charity, which The Prince of Wales started in 1976 when he was just 27.

Wearing a bright blue coat and dress with a distinctive matching hat adorned with feathers, the Queen looked happy and relaxed to have Charles by her side.

gloves and a smart black handbag.

Charles kept in with the blue theme, wearing a pin-stripe blue suit and a blue and black patterned tie.
As the pair made their way into the Kennington offices, they met a host of businesses who have been funded by the charity.

Conceived by Charles when he was just 27, the charity aims to help young people aged between 13 and 30 to get into jobs, education and training.

One of the first stalls was a bee hive, including a swarm of 30,000 bees, which is kept by Peter Higgs of PGH Pest Control, which won a a Prince's Trust Award.

A cake baked by a lady called La'tifah Atkinson, owner of Bake That Cake, which was funded by the Prince's Trust in 2014, proved a hit with the royals.

Before the event, Ms Atkinson, 25, tweeted: 'Her Majesty and Prince Charles are on their way to cut my cake. So excited!

She told Femail later that she was delighted to see Prince Charles cut the cake and that the Queen had asked her about the cake's filling...although they didn't actually get to try it.
Ms Atkinson said: 'She asked me "What's in it?" and I told her: "Vanilla sponge and lemon buttercream.

The Queen added that the cake 'cut very nicely' and 'looked very soft'.
The baking company, based in White City, received £7,500 from the Trust in 2014 and has gone from strength to strength.

'I knew I needed help when I couldn't get one of my cakes out of my mum's front door,' said Atkinson. 'The charity has given me help with everything from accountancy to promoting the company on social media.

Charles appeared to be in jovial mood, laughing and sharing a joke with the Queen and the charity's staff as he made his way around the building.

He even appeared red in the face as he joked with students using computer facilities in the office and seemed delighted to be celebrating the charity entering its fifth decade.

The record producer Sir George Martin dies, aged 90

Record producer Sir George Martin, known as the "fifth Beatle", has died, aged 90.
His family thanked "everyone for their thoughts, prayers and messages of support" after his death at home on Tuesday, his manager said.

Beatles drummer Ringo Starr broke the news on Twitter and led tributes, saying Sir George "will be missed".

Sir George signed The Beatles and produced more than 700 records.
He also worked with artists including Gerry and the Pacemakers, Dame Shirley Bassey and Cilla Black.

Manager Adam Sharp said: "The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and messages of support.

"In a career that spanned seven decades, he was an inspiration to many and is recognised globally as one of music's most creative talents. He was a true gentleman to the end.

A carpenter's son from Holloway in north London, Sir George helped The Beatles achieve global success as the head of the Parlophone record label after hearing their demo tape in 1962.

He took them from their mop-top pop recordings of the early 1960s to the psychedelia of Sergeant Pepper.

Without George Martin, The Beatles would have been a very different band.

His calm demeanour and technical expertise allowed the band to experiment and indulge in their wildest and most elaborate ideas.

On many occasions, Lennon and McCartney would entrust him with arranging their songs - the string quartet on Yesterday is all his work, while he plays the piano solo on Misery.

Famously, Martin walked out of the band's first recording session at Abbey Road, leaving his engineers to supervise the recording of Besame Mucho while he went to the canteen.

But when the group started playing Love Me Do, a tape operator was despatched to fetch him. It was the start of the most productive producer-musician relationship in modern pop - although The Beatles weren't quite ready to accept this suave Londoner to their inner circle.

As the recording session finished, Martin asked if there was anything the band didn't like. "Well, for a start," replied George Harrison, "I don't like your tie.

Luckily, he saw the funny side - and together the quintet rewrote the rule book on popular music.
After The Beatles disbanded, Martin wrote film scores and worked with artists as varied as Sting, Jose Carreras, Celine Dion and Stan Getz.

In 1997, he produced Elton John's re-write of Candle in the Wind, which went on to become the biggest-selling single of all time.

Despite beginning his career as an oboist, the classically-trained producer never regretted making his name in the mass market.

"Rock and roll has the same function as classical music," he once said. "To make sounds that are appealing to a mass of people and are of some worth.

Of his reputation as the "toff" guiding the working-class Beatles to fame, Sir George said: "I've been cast in the role of schoolmaster, the toff, the better-educated, and they've been the urchins that I've shaped.

"It's a load of poppycock, really, because our backgrounds were very similar. Paul and John went to quite good schools. We didn't pay to go to school, my parents were very poor. Again, I wasn't taught music and they weren't, we taught ourselves.

"As for the posh bit, you can't really go through the Royal Navy without getting a little bit posh. You can't be like a rock 'n' roll idiot throwing soup around in the wardroom.

In his lifetime, he won multiple Grammy awards and an Academy Award for the score to A Hard Day's Night.

Sir George received a knighthood in 1996 and in 1999 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Starr, 75, wrote: "God bless George Martin peace and love to Judy and his family love Ringo and Barbara. George will be missed."

In a second message, he added: "Thank you for all your love and kindness George peace and love."
Sir George's son, Giles Martin, tweeted: "RIP dad. I love you. I'm so proud to have been your son. I'll miss you more than words can say. Thank you for the all times we had together.

The Beatles were like an orchestra without a conductor, until George Martin came along and found them," he said

"He had the most magnificent set of ears, as well as a wonderful personality. He was a calm, gentle, kind man with an amazing intelligence and fantastic creativity.

Sean Ono Lennon posted a picture of Sir George on Instagram, writing: "R.I.P. George Martin. I'm so gutted I don't have many words. Thinking of Judy and Giles and family. Love Always, Sean.

Prime Minister David Cameron wrote: "Sir George Martin was a giant of music - working with the Fab Four to create the world's most enduring pop music.

Ray Connolly, a writer who interviewed The Beatles many times and worked on a documentary series with George Martin, described the "happy relationship" between The Beatles and Sir George.
"He was lovely to work with, he was so helpful, like a teacher actually - that's why The Beatles got on with him. He was so encouraging and helpful," he said.

BBC Radio 1 presenter Annie Nightingale, who met Sir George many times, said he influenced the band "immensely".

"He had incredible classical knowledge, and he was able to bring that into their repertoire without them thinking that it was old hat and stuffy."

She added: "He spoke very beautifully and had this incredible sense of humour, and that's I think what helped cement that magic between The Beatles and him.

"The Beatles had been turned down by every other label until George Martin saw their potential. I quote this all the time to people, to never be put off by not succeeding early on, because that's what happened to The Beatles.

Neil Portnow, president and chief executive of The Recording Academy, paid tribute to the six-time Grammy winner.

"Having worked on hundreds of recordings, he was one of the most innovative producers of all time and his impact on music is unparalleled," he said.

"Our creative community has lost a gifted artist, and our thoughts go out to his family, his friends, and the many musicians with whom he collaborated.

Among his many projects was the soundtrack to the eighth James Bond film Live and Let Die.
Sir Roger Moore wrote: "How very sad to wake to the news Sir George Martin has left us. He made my first Bond film sound brilliant!

Liam Gallagher, lead singer of rock band Oasis, who modelled themselves on The Beatles, said on Twitter: "Sir George Martin RIP LG X

Musician Lenny Kravitz wrote: "The legends are really going home! Visionary producer of #TheBeatles, George Martin (1926-2016)."

Husband of Formula One heiress Petra Ecclestone bought specially-modified sports car for huge price tag

The 34-year-old billionaire was seen driving the car for the first time in central London yesterday afternoon

The car is capable of doing 0-60mph in just 2.7 seconds and can go at 220mph thanks to its high-power engine

Billionaire art collector James Stunt has been spotted out his £3.1million supercar for the first time.
The 34-year-old, the husband of Formula One heiress Petra Ecclestone, splashed out on the one-of-a-kind Lamborghini Aventador last month and the car has been compared to the Batmobile used in the Batman superhero films.

But rather than use it for chasing criminals, Mr Stunt employed his new run-around for a quick pop to the shops and a bite to eat this yesterday afternoon.

Mr Stunt, well-known for travelling around London with a cavalcade of blacked out Rolls-Royce Phantoms, was seen in a pair of loafers, jogging bottoms and a black coat and cap as he walked through central London.

Helped by his staff, he was heading to Benares, a twice Michelin starred Indian restaurant in Berkeley Square.

Mr Stunt, whose father-in-law is Formula One chief executive Bernie Ecclestone, has bought a one-off carbon fibre Lamborghini after it was customised by German firm Mansory.

James Stunt met Petra Ecclestone on a blind date in 2006. They married in Odescalchi Castle, Rome in 2011, enjoying live performances from David Guetta and Black Eyed Peas.

It is capable of doing 0-60mph in just 2.7 seconds and accelerating to 220mph thanks to its 830bhp engine, which has been specially upgraded for Mr Stunt from the standard 750bhp. The maximum thrust rises from an imposing 690 to 750 nm.

The redesigned front of the J.S.1 Edition is also crafted from a carbon fabric to give it its stealth. With a new spoiler lip on the front, there are a number of aerodynamic changes which have been made to give additional downforce.

A diffuser and an enlarged and more powerful spoiler at the back are also special modifications which give aerodynamic advantages, while Mr Stunt's unique Lamborghini comes complete with a new exhaust system including manifold, muffler and tailpipes.

The supercar is the 21st car Mr Stunt has ordered from Mansory, with the Lamborghini joining a fleet which includes Range Rovers, Rolls-Royces and Bentleys.

Most of his cars are fitted with personalised plates reflecting their owner's name. Mansory would not confirm the exact value of the car but it is understood to be worth in the region of £3.1million.
A statement from the firm said: 'Someone like Stunt is constantly on the lookout for something special owned by no one but him.

'The J.S.1 Edition by Mansory is covered by a tailor-made carbon fibre shell that meets the highest demands on looks and aerodynamics - and meets in full the strict demands of James Stunt.'

Kendall Jenner keeps sovereign supreme as Paris Fashion Week Queen
Kendall Jenner's as she puts on another show-stopping display on the Elie Saab runway with proud parent Kris watching from the FROW

career as a high-flying catwalk model is going from strength to strength after a handful of stand-out performances over the course of Paris Fashion Week's latest run.

And the 20-year-old continued to reign supreme as the season's catwalk queen as she put on another show-stopping display at the unveiling of Elie Saab's latest collection on Saturday.

Kendall was a vision of high-fashion beauty as she transformed into a punky gothic goddess in two strikingly different, but equally stunning, creations which no doubt left her proud mother Kris - who watched from the front row - in awe.

The second youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan ruled the roost as she was the only 'celebrity' model cast by the Lebanese designer who specialises in elegant evening wear.

The first look saw Kendall sashay down the blue-tinted runway in a black semi-sheer gown which was bandeau in style, nipped at the waist with a silver buckle belt and trailing in length.

The gorgeous centre-piece was rendered in delicate sheer with intricately-designed leather overlay providing a punk edge to the would-be feminine frock.

Kendall was bang-on trend thanks to a skinny leather scarf which was tied around her once while the length hung down to below her knees.

Proving she's THE model of the moment, Kendall Jenner has been storming the runways at Paris Fashion Week.

The reality TV star has walked for every top dog in the industry, and modeled some of next season's key pieces at Elie Saab - we're already working on our shopping list

Whilst you'll have to wait until later in the year to snap up the collection, thanks to this season's Western trend you can tick the trend early, hurrah!

Fringed jackets were big news at Saint Laurent's Spring/Summer 2016 show, and you can get the look on the high street with our top edit below.

Invest in Diesel's luxe style, or cash in on the look for just £12 with Boohoo's bargain option.
Keeping up with Kendall? Easy.

Kendall had the star-studded crowd - which included Olivia Palermo, Dianna Agron and Toni Garrn - captivated with her every move as she glided down the walkway.

The second look was a more colourful and dainty affair as she was styled in a chiffon maxi dress which was emblazoned with a delicate red and blue water colour design.

The frock was semi-sheer and featured high splits either side, exposing glimpses of the fashion darling's lean legs, while horizontal lace panelling provided an extra sexy edge.

Kendall's colourful number was toughened up with a fringed-sleeve leather jacket while a studded choker and fierce lace-up boots ensured she looked every inch the high-end punk princess.

Meanwhile, her make-up was in fitting with the girly-gothic theme and she sported heavy smokey eyes while a pale pink hue plumped her pout.

Her glossy brunette tresses were mostly straight but flicked out at the ends to further frame her face.
While there was no denying Kendall stole the show, her 60-year-old mother Kris gave her a good run for her money as she arrived in a plunging black jumpsuit which afforded her the attention of show-goers.

Kris continued to defy and dress her age as she thought nothing of exposing her cleavage in the low-cut top and her face boasted minimal wrinkles for a 60-year-old woman.

She was in good company as she was joined by Olivia Palermo, Dianna Agron and Toni Garrn who too had been blessed with some of the best seats in the house.

Timeless style sensation Olivia, 30, sported a statement fur coat while Dianna, 29, was a caped crusader in a fringed leather number which she paired with a lace-panel smock dress.

Superstar singer Katy Perry hit the stage to support Hillary Clinton

Katy Perry gives an eyeful of her VERY ample cleavage in sexy stars and stripes ensemble as she hits the stage to support Hillary Clinton

Katy Perry put her brand new relationship with Orlando Bloom aside on Wednesday night to focus on her political agenda.

The superstar singer hit the stage to support US Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at the Hillary Victory Fund 'I'm With Her' benefit concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York, showing off her passion and looking sensational while doing it.

The 31-year-old singer rocked a typically patriotic ensemble for her stint on the stage, flaunting her famously ample cleavage while wowing the crowd.

She channelled her inner Uncle Sam in a pair of shiny wide-legged blue and white striped trousers, teamed wtih a very uplifting red star-printed bra top.

Almost spilling out of the cropped bralet, she further enhanced her tiny waistline and generous chest with a funky waistcoat - in red and white, of course - cinching everything in.

As she danced around with a plethora of dancers in similar stars and stripes attire, she also flashed a hint of her enviably toned torso, showing she hadn't overindulged on her recent romantic trip to Hawaii with her new actor beau.

Her raven tresses were slicked back into a fierce, tight updo and her make-up was simple, a slick of black liner to show off her pretty eyes.

It was a powerful and emotional performance for Katy, who is a staunch Hillary supporter, and she did everything to whip the crowd into a frenzy.

A regular face at political rallies and concerts, Katy looked utterly at home on the stage as she wowed the crowd at the event, which also had former president Bill Clinton and his and Hillary's daughter Chelsea in attendance.

And she looked thrilled as Hillary herself then appeared on stage to take a bow with her at the concert, which also saw the likes of Elton John and Andra Day perform.

Addressing the crowd, the Firework hitmaker explained why she's backing the 68-year-old US Senator in the race to become the president.

'I'm not voting for her because she's a woman,' she said, in-between songs. 'I'm voting for her because she's the right person for the job.

The singer - who performed at the event free of charge - also dedicated her song Unconditional to the political candidate, who won 7 out of 11 states on Tuesday.

I sing this next song for her because I do believe this woman shows unconditional love,' the star said before going into the catchy hit.

Meanwhile, as well as her focus on the political side of things, and her art, Katy was no doubt thinking of her new boyfriend Orlando, 39, who had gone along to be with her on the big night.

The newly-smitten pair had just returned from their first getaway together, and the British Lord Of The Rings star clearly couldn't bear to be apart from his stunning new lady.

The genetically-blessed duo looked smitten with one another as they spent the day hiking with pals at Nā Pali Coast State Park in Kauai last Saturday, before cosying up ahead of a dreamy dinner date the following day in Maui, Hawaii.

Pictures from their vacation showed them getting very touchy-feeling and appearing intimate, showing off their new love and confirming the persistent rumours.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Katy and Orlando - who were first linked after they were spotted getting cosy at a Golden Globes afterparty in January - also took a helicopter ride during their lavish vacation.

The I Kissed A Girl hitmaker - who boasts a $260M fortune - had reportedly played a private show February 24 at the Grand Wailea Resort on Maui.

It's the first known getaway for the flirty duo, who were first spotted canoodling at a Golden Globes afterparty at the Beverly Hilton on January 10.

And while the Roar hitmaker divorced British comedian Russell Brand in 2012, Orlando has a five-year-old son Flynn with his ex-wife, model Miranda Kerr.

If you were looking for the female power players of screen and style on Friday, they were all at the famed Chateau Marmont.

A who is who Hollywood packed the West Hollywood hotel's garden restaurant for the 9th annual Net-A-Porter Celebrates Women Behind The Lens.

Leading the charge of stylish, successful and strong women was Alessandra Ambrosio and Amber Heard who shined, literally.

With off white and pale metallics seemingly the dress code, both stars showed very different ways to dress strong and sexy.

Alessandra, as always, was absolutely radiant at the event wearing a striking gold sequinned dress.

The gown combined a light nude fabric with the gold embellishments and skimmed the model's physique.

The 34-year-old made sure to make the most the gown's thigh high split, using it to show off her gold strappy heels.

The star further accessorized her look with giant gold hoop earrings, an on-trend gold choker and a nude clutch.

Amber, meanwhile, pulled from a similar but more muted colour palette and proved how you do not need to show lots of skin to turn heads.
The 29-year-old wowed in a pale gold silk suit featuring flared tailored pants and a three-quarter length jacket in matching fabric.

The actress then added an off-white cowl neck top that delicately draped across her chest.
The star's pants were so wide that she could have skipped shoes, but, of course, she didn't and instead added a pair of nude pumps.

Breaking from her low key shades, the actress accessorized the look with a black and gold hard shell clutch.

Also getting the silk metallic memo, was Emily Ratajkowski.

The model headed to the luncheon in a silk camisole, which was a similar colour to Amber's suit, and she contrasted the top's texture with a light tan suede skirt.

Going for a less is more look, the Blurred Lines star wore her brown hair in half up, half down 'do that floated down her back.

Amber Valletta also went for a walk on the pale side wearing a cream gown with an asymmetrical draped neckline.

Giving her look a Nineties vibe, the 42-year-old wore the light gown with contrasting black strappy pointy toe pumps, a dark bow fashioned into a choker and ported a glomesh gold string bag.
Amber joined the other Amber as well as actress Amanda de Cadenet for a quick photo shoot.

The trio had each other in fits of laughter as they tried to all pose in unison.
Amanda and Amber Valletta also spoke to the star-studded luncheon along with Sam Taylor-Johnson.

Just like her movie 50 Shades Of Grey, the director is clearly all about breaking rules - or at least dress codes.

The 48-year-old headed to the lunch in a standout spot patterned shirt dress.
It was a big day for the English star, with it also revealed she is set to direct the new Netflix series, Gypsy.

Another two ladies not about to just blend into the famous crowd was Charlotte Tilbury and Minnie Driver.

Celebrity makeup artist Charlotte was a sight to behold in a fun but striking burnt orange dress - which matched her flame locks - with metallic accents.

Minnie, meanwhile, shook things up in a black and metallic silver pinstripe suit which featured wide-leg high-waisted pants that she tucked a black cami into.

While the day was all about women, one male interloper managed to make it in, Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd.

The dapperly dressed actor provided a handsome escort for his talent actress wife Alice Evans.
Also attending the pre-Oscars celebration was Rachel Zoe, Full House star Lori Loughlin, actress Saffron Burrows and stylist Cristina Ehrlich.
